The proposal for this house was envisaged as a reaction to the surrounding landscape and the sloping topography of the site. 

 

The intervention seeks to minimize any impact onto the environment through a geometric translation built onto existing remains. Through the building's form  and materiality, the house allows one to experience the topography on which it resides by replicating movement down towards the ridge. This is perceived as soon as one enters the house through its topmost entrance and proceeds to walk down towards the open space at the bottom.
